As nicer weather emerges, the urge to get outdoors is difficult to fight. Ahh...but work! You still have to bring home a paycheck and balance responsibilities and projects with the urge to go "play", so to speak. Lucky for us, there's an answer. Move for your office outdoors! In an age when almost anyone can work remotely, it's fairly easy to take your work with you to an outdoor location, even if it's just for an hour.
Instead of living in a place where you're afraid to try...I'm going to ask you to pivot. Change your your mindset and think about what you'll miss out on if you don't go for it. You've heard of FOMO, right? Fear of missing out. What will happen if you let fear stop you from trying? What will you miss out on?
In life, in business, I encourage you to start breaking down the walls of fear. Start tackling the things you're afraid of because once you get over one hurdle, the next feels so much smaller. Until fear itself, is no longer an issue.
Over the years, there are a few stand-out methods that have become my favorites for appreciating my customers and business partners. Whether you're an independent business owner like myself, or a larger corporation, these ideas can be easily be applied in some fashion. Going above the standard customer experience will bring you fiercely loyal customers!

Growing up, my mother told me more than once, “Lauren, you have to bloom where you are planted.” You have no idea how often I think about this. It doesn't just apply to finding yourself in brand new settings, but new stages in life.
